Just the 2 of Us!!

We stayed at Pacific Edge which is only 10mins away from are home.
You don't have to go far to get away!

It has been forever since me and Jason have had time for just us.
When Coleen and Gary came they kicked us out and sent us to there hotel on the beach.
Spending time with just Jason was amazing! We had a blast!
That night we went for a walk along the beach. We walked over to this cute geltaeria italiana called tuttoamore (they had the best gelato ever!) and played Operation.
Jason totally wasted me!

The next morning we ate breakfast at C'est La Vie.
We sat on the patio and had a beautiful view of the ocean.

Our waiter had a french accent which was fun.
I guy almost got hit on his skateboard by this crazy lady
who honked her horn for 5 mins., well he yelled at her.
We had some great entertainment.

Disneyland with Grandma and Grandpa

So after 9 months of living in Orange county,
we finally got Disneyland passes!
We had so much fun and can't wait to go back!

Bella was scared at first to go on the storybook canal ride
because of this big mouth.

But she loved it!

She loved the tea cup ride!
The next morning she woke up and said,
"I want to ride the tea cup!"

Bella looking a little scared after the
Alice in Wonderland ride.
(I was even a little disturbed after this ride!)

Bella enjoyed chaining herself to the
railing well we waited in line.

Here are the 'monkeys'

Bella's BFF's!
She cried big crocodile tears after they left.

Hey hot stuff!

Waiting in line for It's a Small World.
Bella knows exactly how to get what she wants from Grandma!

Go Bella!

You can't go to Disneyland without taking a
picture of the princess castle!

Bella's Dance Class

Bella started dance class today!
It is a mommy and me class.
The studio is adorable!

(click on the website for more info.)

www.laderaranchdance.com

She wasn't happy-
For the first 10mins. she would not let me set her down.
Then once she warmed up she said 'I want to hold your hand,'
and we did across the floor.
She wanted to wear her flip flops instead of her ballet slippers.

She had a blast and when it was time to go she didn't want to.

After class everyone got a butterfly stamp.

Yoga Class

I just started a Yoga class again.
I loved my prenatal class @ It's Yoga in Provo,
then I enjoyed the one at BYU, but Corepower yoga
feels amazing. It is a heated room so you sweat like crazy.

THE DASH POEM

I read of a man who stood to speak, at the funeral of a friend.
He referred to the dates on this tombstone from beginning ….to the end.

He noted that first came his date of birth and spoke the following with tears.
But he said what mattered most of all, was the dash in between those years.

For the dash represents, all the time he spent alive on earth.
And how only those who loved him know what that little line is worth.

For it matters not, how much we own; the cars, the house, the cash, what matters most is how we live and love and how we spend our dash…
So think about this long and hard. Are there things you’d like to change?

For you never know how much time is left, that can still be rearranged.
If we could just slow down enough, to consider what is true and real.
And always try to understand, the way other people feel.
And be less quick to anger, and show appreciation more,
and love the people in our lives like we’ve never loved before.
If we treat each other with respect, and more often wear a smile…
Remembering that this special dash might only last a little while.

So, when your eulogy is being read, with your life’s actions to rehash
would you be proud of the things they say and how your spent your dash?
