Can I Still Call Her My Baby?

Forever and For Always!

Me and Bella made the 2 hour drive to go spend the day with
Misty and baby Sara. We had so much fun at Ontario Mills.
Bella loved the Rainforest Cafe. There was a huge Alligator and snake.
Some kids where crying because they were really scared, but not Bella!
I can't believe that my baby girl is going to be 2 on the 24th!

Bella loves to help mommy in the kitchen!

Bella playing Xbox, the "fishy game."
Jason couldn't be more proud!

Bella wishes that she had cool Disney Cars shoes like Sam.
She puts them on every chance that she gets.

We had so much fun digging this huge hole and watching
the tide come and fill it up with water.
I think that me and Jason might have had more fun then Bella!

Eating dinner like a good girl!

Bella at the Pet Store.
This is Bella's signature pose. Can You say cheese!
She wants a Yorkshire, just like mommy!

Sam and Bella at the Irvine Spectrum.
Sam has been out of town and Bella asks
everyday about Autumn, Sam, and Drew.

"Where is Bella?"

"There she is!"

Getting ready for the 'So You Think You Can Dance' party.'
Bella ate more peanut M&M's then anyone there!
She loved Mr. Wilson, Mikelle's big bunny.

Easy, Really Good, Pie Crust!

I like to bake and I love to bake when it is easy and taste amazing. This pie crust totally applies. Super easy and really good. Try it, even if you hate to bake because you might have a change of heart.

No- Fear Pie Crust

Beat together for 2minutes……….8 Tbsp unsalted butter, softened, but still cool

2 oz. cream cheese, softened but still cool

Whisk together then add to the creamed butter mixture on a low speed

………………..1 ¼ cups unbleached all-purpose flour

3 Tbsp sugar

¼ tsp salt

Beat together on a medium speed until dough begins to form large clumps. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured counter, gather into a ball and flatten into a desired shape. Wrap pie shell in a plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. If making a single crust, prick holes in the crust, then bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes. (Note: the baked shell can be wrapped tightly in plastic wrap, stored at room temperature for up to 1 day. The dough can be pressed into the pie plate, wrapped tightly in plastic wrap, and refrigerated for up to 2 days. Thaw frozen dough in the refrigerator.)

The Sweet Joy of Serving

I have to share this poem with you all! The Bishops wife spoke in sacrament a month or so ago and shared this poem. I was so touched by it.

"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in shiny sports car,
wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and
with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.

I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels
from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with grass stains
on my shoes from mowing sister Schenck's lawn.

I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from
making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children. I want to be there
with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed
someones garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on
my cheeks and tears of a friend on my shoulder.

I want the Lord to know that I was really here and that I really lived."

Marjorie Pay Hinckley

The Joy and blessing of service! If you are feeling down go do something for someone. That is living. I love this reminder and hope I can remember it often.
